Star Distance Learning Consortium (USDLC) is firmly committed to
respecting the privacy rights of all educators enrolled in our
L2L courses. This privacy policy will advise you about how we strive
to protect your personal information. Please read this policy carefully
and review occasionally. If new concerns or issues arise then we
will post changes here to reflect our updates.
Please note that this site contains many links to external sites. We cannot be
responsible for the privacy practices or content of these sites.
Information Collected and Stored

We want you to be aware of our information gathering and dissemination practices
for L2L.
When you visit our Web site to browse, read pages, or download information, we
automatically collect and store the following information:
• Internet domain and IP address from which you access our site
• Type of browser and operating system used to access our site
• Date and time you access our site
• Pages you visit
• If you came to our site from another Web site, the address of that site
We use this information to help us make our site more useful and to aid in documenting
the volume of use for evaluation purposes.
Personal and Demographic Information
The only personal information we will ask of you is provided in the registration
process. This information is used to help us better know the teaching areas and
geographic range of our participants. We will use this information to serve you
and future course participants better and to evaluate our project. We will not
share it with third parties.
Webfolio Access and Evaluative Comments
Only you, your local school system supervisor, and the course developers will
have access to your Webfolio.
Occasionally, unidentified quotes from your Webfolio may be used in our evaluation
reports, research articles, or promotional materials. Your registration indicates
your willingness to participate in this way.

Users may download material displayed on this site for noncommercial, educational
purposes only, provided all copyright and other proprietary notices contained
on the materials are retained.
The contents of this site may not be used for commercial purposes, without
written permission of USDLC. To obtain permission to reproduce information
on the site, submit the specifics of your request in writing to Cris Crissman,
USDLC Professional Development Director at info@usdlc.org.
If permission is granted, the wording "provided with permission from USDLC" and
the date must be noted and the USDLC must be provided with a copy of the final
